The book is in clean orange boards with bumped spine ends and corners and there is spine lean, a Church of Scotland presentation plate on the front endpaper, unmarked pages toned and foxed to the text-block edges. The aged dustwrapper is quite creased to the edges with several small closed tears and chips to the spine ends and tips - supplied in a new removable archival sleeve.
