First Edition
Very Good condition. With a complimentary card from the Author, Publisher, and The Nevada State Journal, where tIn 1910, the American Baptist Home Mission Society sent Brewster Adams and his wife, Edna, to Reno, a town of 5,000, to serve the 45-member congregation and to minister to the local Native Americans. Adams graduated from divinity school in 1902. When Adams arrived in town, church services were being held in the Third Baptist Church building on the northwest corner of West Second and Chestnut (Arlington Avenue) streets. In 1917, under his leadership, the parishioners voted to tear down this building to build a larger church. The congregation hired Fred DeLongchamps to design the new building. They engaged contractor Andy Paterson to build the church using assorted colored tapestry bricks, or bricks laid in a horizontal, vertical and diagonal ornamental pattern. The design was finished in large terra cotta molding pieces manufactured by Reno Press Brick.hese essays originally appeared.

Hardcover. Condition: new. Hardcover. Ongoing climate change will significantly change agricultural production conditions around the world in the coming decades. An early recognition of risks and implementation of adaptation strategies is crucial as anticipatory and precautionary. Adaptation is more effective and less costly than forced, last minute, emergency adaptation or retrofitting. This book presents topical research data in the study of climate change adaptation, including climate change in the arctic regions of Russia; adaptation measures in protecting mangroves from climate change; emission reduction potentials for various transport modes and the impact of climate change on crop selection.
