Daniel M. Cobb is assistant professor of history at Miami University of Ohio and formerly assistant director of the D'Arcy McNickle Center for American Indian History. He is coeditor, with Loretta K. Fowler, of "Beyond Red Power: American Indian Politics and Activism since 1900".
