". . .an authentically Lovecraftian marriage of contemporary science and the cosmic. . ." -- Ramsey Campbell. Review:
"Metal Sushi is a very extreme book ... in its pyrotechnical and brutal use of language, borrowing phrases from the cutting edge of Quantum Physics, Cybernetics and Virtual Reality to devastating effect. The resultant word-carnage is truly apocalyptic and unlike anything else you will ever read. He's several years ahead of his time." -- Stephen Sennitt, Headpress. "Conway transcends genre altogether, forging a unique vision ... That he braves the tropes of Ballard and Lovecraft demonstrates his ambition; that he can pull it off shows his brilliance." -- John Coulthart, The Edge.
QUANTUM HORROR, 31 March 2014. I first read David Conway in "The Starry Wisdom" and immediately fell in love. This is non-human horror, something Lovecraft aspired to. It's difficult to put into words, but this is game-changing horror. I am reminded of the first time I read Clive Barker or HP Lovecraft. This is transformative literature. amazon.co.uk review by Petegrinder13
