About the Author:
FRIEDA WISHINSKY has written many beloved and best-selling books for children. Her books have earned numerous accolades, including a nomination for the Governor General’s Award. She is the author of Where Are You, Bear?; You’re Mean, Lily Jean; and Each One Special, among others. Originally from New York, she now lives in Toronto.
LEANNE FRANSON first studied Fine Arts at Concordia University. After working as a dishwasher, massage therapist, short-order cook, waitress, foot courier, and clerk at a fine arts materials shop, she decided to devote herself to illustrating children's books. Originally from Regina, SK, she lives with her son, two cats, and her Saint-Bernard in Montreal.
