A heartwarming, sometimes raunchy and often hilarious look at relationships: divorce, child custody, marriage, family and the law as seen through the eyes of a man with a keen legal mind and a compassionate heart. This book is a collection of stories gleaned from 45 years of practicing Family Law in Texas. Some are humorous, some are uplifting and others are simply shocking, proving, as Mark Twain once said, “Truth is stranger than fiction.” From the first story about saving a six-year old girl to the wild and crazy stories about stolen trial exhibits and birthday parties for movie stars, you will be enthralled. Righting wrongs and ensuring that justice is done for his clients have been the focus of Mr. Robertson’s family law practice. He relies on the philosophy he learned from his mother and grandmother: "Don’t complain; find a solution." And, "bread cast upon the water comes back ham sandwiches."
