Review:
"This charming and visually attractive true account of a young Great Horned Owl that fell from a tree and survived, thanks in part to the caring following of the owlet's human admirers, is sure to please young and adult readers alike."
- Wayne R. Petersen, Director of MassAudubon's Important Bird Area (IBA) Program
"What a sweet story --brought to life beautifully by John Harrison and Kim Nagy. Enhanced by wonderful photographs, Skylar's Great Adventure provides lessons about perseverance and courage, and shows how people can provide supportive, yet unobtrusive help to the wild creatures we appreciate and love."
-Ray Brown, creator and host, Talkin' Birds Radio Show
