I've been writing Gloriana's story for a long time. She's always wanted a perfect figure and to know where she came from. When her mother takes her to Olympus and Glory's dreams come true, it's like all of us mere mortals are living a fantasy. I tried to imagine what it would be like if I could suddenly be a size six and eat whatever I wanted after centuries of being denied real food. Of course Glory had a few hours of joy. Then the reality of losing all her friends and her Jerry would hit her. If you have a true love like Glory has, the physical things aren't that important without him by your side. Of course I had fun with Olympus and the fantasy world there. Glory has personality and I let her go wild. Why not? I knew I'd have to get her back to Earth eventually. Stay tuned, though. Time moves differently in Olympus and you might be surprised at what could come later in another book.
