Just Perfect: More Adventures of Jules the Lighthouse Dog - Hardcover

Readers often ask me why I use dogs as the main characters in my books. Using dogs as the main characters in my stories allows me to present issues, challenges and life lessons that most children experience, while removing any gender/race/creed/religious stereotypes, therefore making the stories accessible to ALL children. My experience from doing many programs in schools throughout the country confirms that children do readily empathize with the characters and are able to easily identify and accept the underlying lesson/moral.

Just Perfect was inspired by my dog, Jules, who lived with me in the lighthouse keepers quarters at the Pt. Loma Lighthouse in San Diego, CA.
