"Amazon Bestseller!"
What's Trina Laws to do now that she's traded her career for her family, her kids have outgrown her, and her husband is pushing her away? Does she follow her sex-crazed sister's advice, "Girl, you better go get you some," or turn to her mother's God?
How can a strong, handsome man like Jett Thorne keep his convictions in a world filled with treachery and moral compromise? Should he follow his feelings, or stay true to his cold-hearted wife?
And while the grown folks are doing their own thing, who's looking out for the kids; or do they have to pay for the sins of their parents--forever?
Trina Laws and Jett Thorne will find the answer when they find each other--but can true love wait?

From the Back Cover:
Fireworks
(c) Jeanetta Britt

We're always looking for fireworks
Trying to brighten up our lives
We want to blow up, have a blast, flash...
Light up the night skies.

But the thing about fireworks
They don't last
The sizzle is short
The fizzle is fast.

But the blessings from God
Won't make us sad
They make our lives shine
And no sorrow do they add.
About the Author:
Jeanetta Britt is a bestselling author and an award-winning poet who graduated Magna Cum Laude from Fisk University and finished Top Ten with a Master's degree from The University of Michigan. Her passion for writing contemporary Christian Fiction novels--filled with lots of juicy drama and suspense--as well as, Gospel poetry, surfaced in 1996 and has grown steadily since that time. "While being swept up in the story," Jeanetta says, "I want my readers to feel the love of Jesus and take refuge in Him, like I did." After completing a 30-year career in public administration in Dallas, Texas, Jeanetta returned to her native Alabama to write and to live. Her southern roots are reflected in her imagery, characters, and delightfully witty storytelling style. She is a sought-after inspirational speaker, by youth and adults alike, with six novels and five books of poetry to her credit. Jeanetta is also an avid gardener and community advocate, and she founded Twelve Stones CDC--a non-profit organization that operates two community gardens in rural Alabama. "We provide free, fresh food for our community and an opportunity for our youth and senior citizens to form that vital intergenerational connection, and to get some free exercise, companionship and sunshine, too," she says. "No rules--just love!"
