Part-time employment is becoming an increasingly popular alternative for professionals and employers alike. However, most of the insights offered here as to the advantages of becoming a part-time professional are probably well-known by the time an individual has decided to seek a part-time position. The short case studies scattered throughout do little more than validate the fact that there are interesting professional opportunities available on a part-time basis. The second half of the book, which focuses mainly on how to secure a satisfying position, merely provides some simplistic counter-arguments to employers' possible objections.
