About the Author:
KIM J. KIPLING is a professor of philosophy at Radford University where he has taught since 1984. He came to Radford from Penn State where he received a doctorate in 1982 and taught freshman composition for two years. Kipling has been active in Radfords Writing Across the Curriculum Program since 1984, serving as newsletter editor, panel discussant, and advisory board member.
