As the subtitle suggests, this dramatic, unusual offering is part book, part paper theater. Each spread features multiple layers of scenery that fold out to create a strong sense of depth, while side curtains reveal the text. Told in only six scenes, the story feels a bit rushed, particularly in its conclusion, which pairs images of a vibrant, living Snow White with text that initially describes her apparent death.
