A couple of years ago I went to Oklahoma to give a lecture at a writer's conference. One of the authors on the panel was Clyde Edgerton, whom I had never met nor read before. He was amazing--very generous with the conferees and gave the greatest banquet speech. I picked up Killer Diller at the conference (this is before I worked at Ballantine) and read it straight through on the plane home!
About the Author:
Clyde Edgerton is the author of eight novels, five of which have been New York Times Notables. He is a professor of creative writing at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and performs with his band, Rank Strangers. Author Web site—www.clydeedgerton.com.
