From AudioFile:
At once mouthwatering and heartbreaking, this book could not sport a more apt title--unless it could be SEX AND THE CITY COOKS. Melucci traverses the trials and tribulations of the New York City dating scene, describing a series of compelling, if somewhat cheerfully neurotic, relationships. Peppered throughout with foodie analogies, Melucci's delightful and poignant reminiscences embrace not only the loves of her life but also her past culinary inspirations. Read by the author, the romantic intrigues are all the more entertaining as they are sparked by Melucci's bold zeal and pithy humor. Listening to Melucci put her romances into perspective, one feels that only the author could imbue the reading with such wisdom, humor, and optimistic ardor for fine food and love.
