Review:
'Fresh, sensitive, fun, addictive and well written. Hodder is deservedly aiming high' The Bookseller on The Reluctant Landlady 20040723 'Exciting debut ... A laugh-out-loud romantic comedy ... This is, quite simply, great fiction and the launch of a talented new author' Booksellers choice (BCA), Bookseller on The Reluctant Landlady 20040820 'The Reluctant Landlady is a rare gem: commercial women's fiction it may be but it's certainly not a hot-pink Jones clone. Strachan is the freshest and funniest writer to enter this genre since Lisa Jewell wrote Ralph's Party and this is full of laugh-out-loud moments' Booksellers choice (Waterstones), Bookseller 20040820
