The two continue their preparations until they are snuggled up in bed while "Ten twinkly stars look down from above." The numerals and corresponding pictures are repeated on the outside edges of the pages, while the illustrations of Poppy and Max are in the middle. Pastel pinks, yellows, oranges, and purples capture the mood. A fun book that is perfect for little hands.
