About the Author:
Charles Bowden lived and wrote in Tucson, Arizona. His recent books include Down by the River: Drugs, Money, Murder, and Family, Blues for Cannibals: Notes from Underground, Blood Orchid: An Unnatural History of America, and Desierto: Memories of the Future.
